Bring Bermuda home
Limestone + Cedar started in 2018 with a love of candles and a simple idea: to create scents inspired by Bermuda.
So much of what I make comes from the beautiful island around me - pink sand, salty sea air, historic cedar trees, rain falling on white limestone roofs, local foliage and those familiar scents that instantly remind you of home.
Each candle is hand-poured here in Bermuda in small batches using soy or coconut-soy wax and carefully chosen fragrance oils. The idea has always been to create something that feels beautiful and simple, but also has a real connection to the island.

Handmade with love
Hi, im Nina.
I started Limestone + Cedar as a small handmade candle business, and over the years it has grown into a collection of candles, home fragrance and gifts sold in shops, spas and hotels across Bermuda.
Even as the business has grown, I still make all the candles myself. I blend and pour the wax, finish the labels, prepare the packaging and deliver the orders.
There are definitely a lot more candles to pour these days, but I’ve always wanted to keep that handmade part of the business. I like knowing that everything has been made with care and hasn’t just come off a production line somewhere.

Inspired by Bermuda
Bermuda is behind almost everything we create.
Some scents are inspired by places, some by plants, and others by little moments that just feel like home. Tank Rain is that fresh, green smell after a heavy rain shower. Pink Sand is soft and coastal. Railway Trail is inspired by cedar, leaves and quiet walks through the islands historic trail.
Our Parish Collection celebrates all nine parishes of Bermuda, with a different fragrance and personality for each one.
For me, the nicest thing about scent is how quickly it can take you back somewhere. Whether you live in Bermuda, have visited, or simply love the island, I hope our candles bring back a place, a feeling or a memory.
Thoughtfully made
I try to keep our products simple, beautiful and considered.
Our candles are poured in small batches and many are finished in our signature amber glass vessels with natural cork lids. We also use upcycled Bermuda bottles for some of our collections, giving the glass a second life and making the finished candle feel even more connected to the island.
Every Limestone + Cedar candle vessel can also be refilled, so once your candle has finished you can bring the vessel back to be poured again with a scent you love. I really like the idea of keeping and reusing something rather than having to replace it every time.
The packaging is designed to feel natural and gift-ready without being overdone — something you’d be happy to give, but just as happy to keep for yourself.
Made for giving
Over the years, I’ve had the chance to create candles for weddings, hotels, local businesses, events, corporate gifts and all sorts of special celebrations.
We offer custom candle labels for weddings, events, corporate gifts and celebrations, whether you want something simple with names and a date or a design created especially for the occasion.
I can also create custom candles using a vessel you love. So if you have a special container, piece of glass or vessel you’d like turned into a candle, we can work together to create something unique.
I especially love these custom projects because they become a little reminder of a particular place, person or moment. We also make gift sets for anyone wanting to send or take a little piece of Bermuda home.
You can find Limestone + Cedar at selected shops, hotels and boutiques around the island.
We were very proud to receive the Best of Bermuda Made Product award in 2024, as well as the Corporate Gifts award at the 2019 Product & Service Awards.
Limestone + Cedar has also been featured by Garden & Gun Magazine, The Bermudian, The Royal Gazette and Bermuda Tourism.
Thank you for being here
Limestone + Cedar has grown almost entirely through local support, word of mouth, returning customers and people choosing to shop small.
Every order really does mean something to me.
I love knowing that something I’ve made here in Bermuda is being lit in someone’s home - whether that home is just down the road or somewhere much further away.
Thank you for supporting Limestone + Cedar and for letting me share a little piece of Bermuda with you.
